Wikileaks.

By Sylvia Godoi

In my opinion I think that the creation of the WikiLeaks website is a revelation that has left the world shocked by the content of their publications, which express the abuses that  have been committed by large countries, such as the United States, on other smaller countries, and other series of criminal acts that have been committed by major figures in political and social history of the world, who have even claimed the lives of thousands of people, or, as Julian Assange (founder of Wikileaks page)has said, millions of lives over the years. Seems to be ironic that criminalize these acts and say that Mr. Julian Assange has endangered the lives of those involved in these acts, because in my opinion this argument is very weak, if is contrasted with the effects that these countries have caused.
From this I think that the world needs WikiLeaks, if people want to live in countries where democracy is something pure and not only the speeches and initially good intentions, because people need to know the truth about events that have not been disclosed transparently, which in my opinion also hurts people's rights and dignity to not be deceived by public figures, whom believes that are representing us, wanting the best for us. Well, now the downside of these publications is that people tend to think that these acts of corruption or abuses of power are widespread, causing panic and disappointment among the population, however this is due to the same governments who do not transparent their actions, generating distrust in the general opinion, further compounding the error of governments, as all these facts were revealed at once, so the people know some terrible news and unable to forget, or assimilate them , take knowledge of others more, so the effect tends to be accumulated  and, in a final point, cause all this efects.
The WikiLeaks revelations undoubtedly affected the relations between countries, and are generating mistrust, because this revelation transposed physical, social and cultural boundaries, even being heard by people in other countries, generating a global effect. This point, in my point of view, is the most important feature of the web side, because of the impact that a simple publication can cause.
On another topic, this type of publications has caused the imprisonment of the people who published them, an that clearly is a threat to all those who want to disclose these facts of injustice, governments also, knowing that this is part of freedom expression, is trying to act outside of law criminalizing people if they talk the truth. I think this attack is a government strategy to silence the truth, destroying freedom of expression in all its forms and this is not justifiable.
In my opinion, governments have tended to think that their wishes are more important than the wishes of the people they claim to represent and have forgotten an undeniable truth, that is these same people, who they are trying to manipulate and deceive with false promises and hidden acts, who should be represented, heard and obeyed by governments, which were elected by them.

Stefan v/s Kramer”: a disappointed movie for Chilean people

By María de los Ángeles Miranda

To start I will say first that I have never been a girl who likes to watch many movies, I have always preferred to do other things like go dancing or as a child to play outside my house, I never liked being cooped up watching television , I always go with my friends or my mom. That's why I have little experience to tell if a movie is bad or good.
what I can say is that I had high expectations of the movie "Stefan v / s Kramer" and I think it was a bit disapointed to see it, I expected it to be more entertaining as all Chileans know that imitation is a genius kramer expecting much more. which was released on August 2, 2012 and distributed by 20th Century Fox.

For you can understand a little more I'll tell you who is Kramer. He is an imitator, actor, comedian and broadcaster of Chile. Coming from a family of German Swiss descendants of Araucanía Region, Kramer is well known in Chile for copying with very similar tones, tones of voice, gestures and expressions of dozens of characters Chilean and international environmental, such as entertainers, singers, politicians, athletes, sports commentators and general non sense characters. Successfully participated in the second night of the Festival of Viña de Mar 2008. In a routine that lasted nearly 90 minutes, imitated to 33 characters. The audience cheered and rewarded him with two torches (silver and gold) and a gaviota.1 Several television programs have benefited Chile that produces good hearing Kramer's routine and have repeated countless times without receiving comedian any financial remuneration. In 2010 encourage with Felipe Camiroaga   a show that’s calls the Falcon and Chameleon in TVN, with which achieved great success. The most imitations have been characterized with costumes and makeup, but at other times Stefan Kramer has only imitated the voice and gestures without characterized.

I did not like the movie because the plot was not very good and could not  a very good story with so many imitations involved, was as false and fantastic series. I find that not imitated so well this time and that new characters were missing because we know by heart all the routines that showed. I also believe that the wife center much history and we're not very interested in her, wanting more than kramer. That's why I think the movie was not very good, because Kramer is a very talented to imitate but despite that the director was Leonardo Prieto kramer apparently gave many ideas and were not very good.

Mirror, Mirror... in my opinion, a not recommended movie!

This movie it's like a remake of the classical movie “Snow White”, but not in a entire way.  I mean, in the traditional version of the story. In that point, this film starts and develops weird, because you always think in the old version but has some new things that, in my case, doesn´t really match with the idea or concept of Snow White.

However. the truth is this movie has a great cast. One of their stars is Julia Roberts, a incredible and famous actress. Lily Collins plays Snow White, the main character. She's young but  achieved fame for some movies like "The blind side" in 2009. The name of the director is Tarsem Singh. Another movie known of him is “The cell” with Jeniffer López.
Well, I saw this movie about a few months ago, like May in  a cinema. Me and my friend, bought the ticket of this movie because we had to make time and was the only film that the cinema were giving in that moment. At that moment, I had no problem with seeing this movie. Actually  I thought, ok, not think it's bad ... I see some good actors, the plot is sure to be funny ... ok, let's go.
So we went into the room, waiting for the start. I think at the first 30 minutes I was ok, with expectation for how the plots were going to be. As when she was going to meet with the 7 dwarfs, if the prince fall in love with the wicked queen, if he had a sad ending or something no one would expect. A lot of expectations for the movie how you can see.
But nothing of that happened in this film! It was so boring! Really, for me, this movie lasted years and years. Almost, my friend falls asleep in my arms! It was really bad.
I think the plot is very slow and without much emotion in their scenes. Clearly, in many parts one knows what will happen because it's a familiar story, but new that could add that it was too much, I could not make you feel an emotion or intrigue, or simply one that was not hit with the rest of the film.
I know the movie is aimed at young children but I have seen another movies for this segment, and they aren´t like this! They have a lot more action and movement!

At only different thing that I remember and maybe caused some impact or novelty, was when Snow White fights with a really strange dragon bird that wanted to kill her, and inside this “animal” was the soul of her father. I I think that might be a good change or addition to the plot but still for me wasn’t entirely convinced or create a good story. For me, Snow White was still a strange and poorly arranged.
I think that obviously, I didn't like the movie, practically in nothing. I think a little girl who is her first time for seeing and known about the story of  Snow White, maybe likes this movie and  can find out more good elements and scenes than me.
Anyway, I saw all the movie and I made my wait more “entertaining” that day, but my friend weren't very happy with our choice of movie. He just told me: we could have eaten an ice cream and be more happiest and keep us awake!

The Wizard Of Oz: a movie of many feelings!

The truth is that long ago when I was  a child I saw many movies, every day saw a movie and almost all saw more three times, I was a quiet girl and I liked for example “The Little Mermaid” , “The beautiful and the Beast”,” Aladdin”,  and among others that I cant remember right now. Watch movies was one of my biggest hobbies and I enjoyed it a lot, meanwhile my mom was happy that I stayed indoors and not go out as much as other children. However I was a very sensitive child and things affect me very much, if a movie was sad I cried and cried nonstop, or where certain bad things came out I was really scared, then I used to dream nightmares later in the night and woke up at midnight and I used to go  to my parents' bed. I remember that something strange was going on with the movie "The Wizard Oz" because I loved that movie and I think I saw at least ten times in my childhood, but at the same time I was really scared that movie by the witch that appeared and monkeys that had slaves, I was really scared that the swirl also kept house, because although Dorothy was a dream I thought everything was real and very scary that this could happen to my house. Besides the fact of losing my house was something that terrified me and I was always afraid that because my mom had that fear and now I think that she transfered to me. Although not a film that I will talk hate the Wizard of Oz, because although it was a movie that I liked but its cost a lot of bad dreams that brought me during my childhood. This film was created in 1939.The starring was Judy Garland, Frank Morgan, Ray Bolger, Jack Haley, Bert Lahr, Billie Burke and Margaret Hamilton. The management were involved in Victor Fleming, Mervyn LeRoy, Richard Thorpe, King Vidor. The film is based on the children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum.

The movie had parts that I would take of for the mental health of the children who see it, for example at the beginning when carrying the puppy dorothy, that part I didn´t like because I remember that I had a dog when I was a child that had been taken  also so  I suffered a lot and I quess that happens to many children in the world, then that happen in the movie saddened me because it reminded to me of my bad experience,  also  Dorothy cried in despair and I don’t think that’s can be  good for a child to see that. Another part that I didn´t liked was a witch when it drop a house as shown above and you shrink the feet, that image I really dont  know why but appeared many times in my dreams.

Obviously everything about the witch terrified me, from their appearance to their shouts and laughter. But the part that I liked least was when the witch was burned, I was very scared that scene. Finally, the part that it was desapointed to me  was when the magician doesn´t has real powers, it gave me a lot of anger as a child and  of course didn´t understood the true meaning of that, I just  cried of rage and thinking that Dorothy would not return home.

Circumcision: a controversial topic

By Maria de los Ángeles Guerra

Circumcision involves cutting a portion of the penile foreskin covering the glans, leaving him permanently .The most common reasons for circumcision are religious, cultural or medical. In 2006, according to who estimates, 30% of men in the world was circumcised, 68% of them are muslims . In Judaism, this ritual is called Brit Milah. Although not mentioned in the Qur'an, circumcision is practiced throughout the Islamic world.

A little of history...Circumcision is mentioned in the V century. C. by Herodotus, that the names in the second book of his Histories and attributed its origin to the Egyptians. This origin seems confirmed by the numerous archaeological remains, the oldest is an engraving of the tomb of Ankhamahor (between 2300 and 2200 a Representing a circumcision performed with a flint stone in a man standing. The oldest practice is widespread in Judaism, whose realization is a mandatory practice for over 4500 years, when the patriarch Abraham was circumcised by a divine order as the biblical texts and times of the stories.
In the United States, is often done before the baby leaves the hospital. Circumcision has medical benefits and risks. Possible benefits include reduced risk of urinary tract infections, penile cancer and sexually transmitted diseases. Risks include pain and low risk of bleeding or infection.

Well, in my opinion I think it ´s a practice that isn´t necessary and that babies can´t decide, so it's not fair, I think it should be done at an age when men could decide if they really want to do it or not. Well, the true it has many benefits such as hygiene or prevent contagion of disease or other infections, however I think it's part of a ritual and I think that rituals have destroyed societies and religions have made just a frustration, because when there are such sacrifices other people evade quer areas of religion can be good, Judaism is a sect full of rituals and a very closed circle and that does not seem right, I think we all are equal and have the same rights. I think it's very common in religions perform rituals in babies and also spoke of baptism for example, in the Catholic religion baptize babies who do not know what they are doing and are not aware of what happens, I believe that religion is a desicion to be taken with a conscience to be true. I think that's why it has caused so many problems in the world, because a baby can not decide what you want and not just bring it to pass that way. True, there may be a hygienic practice, however it is something that man must decide when it is aware. I think that nature is wise and if the body is in a way is because they have to stay, I do not think it's good to surgically alter it unless it is for medical reasons.

Perfect Sense: An interesting Love Story

By Maria de los Ángeles Guerra Owen

To start talking about the movie first give a brief introduction

Perfect Sense is a movie at times surprising and in many issues, sometimes it was a little shocking because its had strong images on the subject of strange disease. The movie is a love story that takes place in a setting quite controvesial, and unleashed a virus that produced quite contagious and symptoms unimaginable, what was produced was the loss of the senses that slowly trapping people  desperate to recover, the cities were devastated by such behaviors and destroyed lives and places. The love story is not given as typical of those we see in other movies, because the stage is not ideal and the woman was a serious scientific and somewhat confused, second man was a fun and friendly chef. when they met she was very heavy with it and do not take into account, one could say that it was impolite to close the window as abruptly as he had been very kind to her.Was all very strange because they could have a very good time but the next day she woke very serious, I think in real life so a woman would cost a man fall in love.In short the story was intense and interesting.
I think it goes without saying shocking parts of the movie, for example part that caught my attention and I think I was disgusted when the disease make that the infected an insatiable hunger, people seemed to animals and was a little gross view scenes.I must admit that at that time quize stop watching the movie or advance it to another scene. But also parts that I liked  as when they kissed with masks on, I think that scene was very symbolic and summarized the full movie.

I think Susan was taken quite professional disease, since it is true that his first symptom was the attack and did not stop crying all night the next day she realized it was the virus and relaxed, did not despair as showed in other people and continued his life and trying to solve the serious problem attacking the world. In the movie the show always very calm despite everything happening yet she seemed depressed, I think the disease and especially the very depressed when he left Michael, that affected him deeply because she had no family.

In my opinion Michael was a little affection disease, the symptoms were stronger or at least more harmful, as when Susan became aggressive and she let him. Also when he lost his voice and could not speak or hear the truth maybe that scene is not understood if he could not hear or hear, well in the film only shows that he was desperate and very sad for Susan, as he realized he was in love and that it needed.I think in that sense the movie was very realistic because love is never perfect and always brings suffering. In life when you decide to fall in love too must assume the risk that entails.
If he were to lose my senses I would act with desperation, as they are absolutely necessary and I think birth is harder to lose them all, because one becomes dependent on them and know the world with them, to me a lack of awareness and live and I need all my senses to do as I want.

“People prepare for the worst, but hope for the best.
They concentrate to the things that are important to them..
all the things beyond fact and flower.”

On these words identified by the narrator i can say that is very true, people must be prepared for the worst ever, because life always brings problems that we must to confront with hard and temperance. However I also believe that hope is one of the most important things in life, one must have hope always to fight and expect things to work quietly, as people who have no hope that they become depressed and cause more problem and can sink into a bottomless black hole that will not let you leave until you do not choose to leave and hope is crucial because it is what helps us out and troubleshoot.
About that which states that each person concentrates on his stuff I think it is very true, humans often tend to be very selfish and concerned only for our welfare and when we remember the rest is when we need them, I it's time to start worrying about others and that many people need companionship and love that are not receiving.

The movie that I hated the most: Mr. Popper's Penguins

By: SYLVIA GODOI REYES

Mr. Popper's Penguins is a film released in June 2011, the director was Mark Waters and its cast included actors like Jim Carrey, Carla Gugino, Madeline Carroll and others.
Mr. Popper's Penguins tells the story of Tommy Popper, who as a child was every night waiting for the time to communicate with his father through a radio, because this was the only way to talk to him, due to tours around the world that his father was doing all the time, so did not have much physical contact.
Today Mr. Popper is a successful salesman in the city of Manhattan. He is divorced, with two children from his previous marrige, and lives in a luxury apartment located in the center of the city, where lives a comfortable, quiet and carefree life.
Popper`s two children are called Madeline and Max. Popper only has contact with them from time to time, and don’t shows a real interest in them.
When his life was in perfect conditions, and he thinks that nothing can be better in his life, Popper receives a wooden box that his father had left him before he died along with a letter, which contained the last words and wishes that his father wanted to tell him in person, but the circumstances had made it impossible.
When he opened the box, Popper saw that inside was a figure, life-size, of a penguin, which seemed very unappealing and tasteless. He thought that this figure could even be a toy that his father had sent from his last trip.
When popper back home that same day he realized that the penguin was not a toy, but a real penguin that was screaming and sliding down the department. It was a big surprise when he realized it that it was not just a penguin, but several more inside the box.
Eventually popper and his sons began to love the penguins, who teach them a lesson that was stay together as a family and support each other no matter what happen.

Even when Mr. Popper's Penguins is a film for all viewers and has a white humor, I found it very boring. I thought that if the film was performed by Jim Carrey this would be much more fun and I would laugh more often during the show.
Perhaps the actor was trying to turn around his career, however see Jim Carrey in this type of film, in my opinion, creates expectations that are not met at the end. Jim seems to me that not only did not identify himself with the character, but his career did not generate synergies with this film in particular, synergies that were reflected even in dramatic films such as “number 23”, but these movies are a clear reflection that Jim is having a bad time in his career. Another point that I did not like was the slow flow of the film, nothing happened in the first hour to make you laugh or to that makes a significant contribution to the story, however I think that the main reason of my disappointment with the film was the great expectation that I had in it based on its cast and advertising. There is nothing worse than paying for something and get something else.

Circumcision: An unnecessary practice?

By: María de los Angeles Miranda

There are different views about what is circumcision, for examplesome countries, they do a circumcision for medical reasons or for religious beliefs, etc. While there are different views on this issue, it seems to have no reason to considered doing a circumcision for a better hygiene, because "if men are not circumcised, smegma accumulates in his private, though, circumcision and hygiene are not scientifically linked.  The Royal Dutch Medical Association says that "there's no convincing evidence that circumcision is useful or necessary in terms of prevention and hygiene." besides the American Academy of Pediatrics says that "circumcision has been suggested as an effective method of maintaining penile hygiene since the time of the Egyptian dynasties, but there’s little evidence to affirm the association between circumcision status and optimal penile hygiene”[1]. Therefore none of the definitions can discern, because there are only a few credible studies who can endorse that the circumcision as a method of hygiene, or as a fundamental technique for male health care.
In my opinion, circumcision is truly an unnecessary intervention, because I think the human body is structured in a certain way, and we have to accept it just as it is and   understand that every part of the human body has it's function. Moreover, there are various studies that refer to this technique saying that it reduces the risk of contracting HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases. While I think it is extremely important to take the necessary steps to take care of any disease that threatens our health, I think there are other steps that you can take to avoid them, such as using a condom. However, in the case of phimosis or other complications, it's necesary to do a circumcision, because it threatens the health of a person. But when it's done for no reason, I don't see a solid argument to support this action. Let's not forget that nature is wise and put something there for a reason. However, in the terms of the people who calls this action a "mutilation" I consider it that an exaggeration, as I would call it, an "unnecessary surgery."
Following with this issue, a renowned newspaper said: "according to pediatric studies, performing circumcision on newborn males, provides benefits such as reducing the risk of HIV and some sexually transmitted infections such as genital herpes, human papillomavirus and syphilis. These are the conclusions of a technical and a political statement of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), headquartered in Chicago"[2] Following this idea, several scientists want to make a plan for doing a circumcision in the first few months of birth. Which, I consider an aberration, because I think that every person has the right to choose.  For example some children, when they grow up, they take the decision to cut it, if they decide to cut it, it’s on their own free will and I believe that's a valid choice. The problem is that when those who have been mutilated can not take the decision to leave it there. Every kid has the right to make that decision and no one can take that decision for them
Let's not forget, that there are many things that are known after they're made, such like food was bad or that components of certain products can cause cancer. What if a after a while scientist discovers that circumcision helps, but it causes others irreversible effects? It can happen, and wouldn't be so surprising considering that scientist haven't done profound studies on the subject, neither there's a long follow up on the people who has been circumcised so we could be talking about a damage that has no turning back.

Circumcision

By: Jaime Cruz

The Circumcision its a practice that starts from 5th century BC, and the first culture who start this activity was de Egyptian. In other culture the circumcision was practiced by the Jews for over 4500 years ago. Abraham was circumcised by a divine order according to biblical texts.
In my opinion the circumcision it’s a healthy practice because no one is forced to do this operation. “The health care provider will usually numb the penis with local anesthesia before the procedure starts. The numbing medicine may be injected at the base of the penis, in the shaft, or applied as a cream.
There are a variety of ways to perform a circumcision. Most commonly, the foreskin is pushed from the head of the penis and clamped with a metal or plastic ring-like device”. In this way the circumcision has a variety of intervention by making it a safe practice.
The circumcision in older and adolescent boys is usually done under general anesthesia, the child is completely asleep, and the baby’s have local anesthesia.
American Academy of Pediatrics made a study of the risk of children who are not circumcised.
Bleeding, infection, redness around the surgery site, injury to the penis. The study concludes that are a risk of cancer in male infants including: cancer of the penis, sexually transmitted HIV, infections of the penis, phimosis, and urinary tract infections. American Academy recommend Hygiene of the penis and “safe sexual practice can help prevent many of these conditions”. The most important practice is hygiene always.
In the society the circumcision its seen as a bad practice because most of the countries that comprising ONU rejects this practice. This practice is a violation of the ethics and integrity of the male.
“In ancient Greeks and Romans valued the foreskin and were opposed to circumcision”, this trade was inherited by the secular legal system of the Christian West. By the way, the laws in many countries and United States Federal laws, refuse the genital modification and mutilation of male minors, with come exception based on medical need. Other important point it’s the opponents of female mutilation of minors and says: “ Assert that laws against genital modification and mutilation of minors should apply equally to males and females”.

However a report  by  Unicef says: "When the practice first came to be known beyond the societies in which it was traditionally carried out, it was generally referred to as "female circumcision". This term, however, draws a direct parallel with male circumcision and, as a result, creates confusion between these two distinct practices." Its very important to know the circumcision in female its equals than of male and opponents consider this practice equality.
“This stance has been largely echoed by Western medical and political authorities. The Australian Medical Association states: "The AMA rejects the euphemism "female circumcision", sometimes used to describe the various forms of female genital mutilation, because the use of this phrase trivializes the severe and often irreparable physical and psychological damage occasioned to girls and women by these practices”. In general, this practice has been taken into account worldwide and is critical to know because it is global contingency and need to know it to be more informed.
Another important report was in Xhosa of South Africa where this traditional circumcision caused many deaths of children who were circumcised in poor condition. In 2009 in Eastern Cape Province alone, 80 boys died and hundreds were hospitalized after after being circumcised. Finally “NOCIRC opposes the non-therapeutic circumcision of children” The organization suggests that circumcision must be done when the person need it only when it is absolutely medically necessary.

Circumcision By Sylvia Godoi

The topic of circumcision has always caused great controversy around the world, especially in countries that see it with suspicion, considering it an unnecessary practice that attempts against the nature of man.

Circumcision is practiced in Middle Eastern countries, where it is clearly oriented to a matter of religion, including Islam, where it is practiced by most Muslims, Judaism, where is a mandatory practice for over 4500 years, and Judeo-Christianity, where it is believed that practice is closer to God and his commandments,  is not a forced act, but, on the contrary, an act that is done on a voluntary basis.

Whether is considered a culture or a health topic, the  circumcision has been practiced for many years, as outlined in this fragment found on the web that relates, according to the Bible, as God would have spoken to one of his most faithful followers, Abraham , to teach him how and when circumcision was practiced as a demonstrative act of the alliance between God and the Jewish people: "The oldest practice is widespread in Judaism, whose realization is a mandatory practice for 4500 years, when the patriarch Abraham was circumcised by a divine order as the biblical texts and times of the stories. "[1]

"In Western societies, especially the Anglo-Saxon countries like UK, Canada, Australia and United States, circumcision is done for medical reasons, and never by religion, excepted by Jewish people who live there.”[2]

As you can take from this passage, there is another reason not yet addressed, the medical approach. There are circumstances in which circumcision becomes a sensitive issue and is required for the proper functioning of the body, and to prevent disease. Clearly this approach is more objective, because the person does not have complete freedom as to whether or not practice it, he must do it to protect their own health.

"Today circumcision is performed on the sixth day of life of the male. Among Christians only performed in the Church of Ethiopia. Among Muslims is between three and seven years. It is not prescribed by the Koran. This is a pre-Islamic rite. In many black African tribes circumcision is very important as the climax of a series of rituals that constitute the so-called initiation to life as a young man. More than a hygienic operation, is a test of manhood in which the child ceases to be such and is admitted to the adult community. As we see only the attempt to define it is complex." [2]

In my opinion I think that circumcision is a topic that is quite difficult to criticize, there will always be debates about whether it is a practice oriented to hygiene or mutilation of the male’s reproductive system, but I think the decision is in hands of every man. But is more complex to criticize it if is part of other countrie’s culture, because the act itself is not as important as the social purpose of the same. For the hygienic purpose of the act itself, I think the health and hygiene situation of countries where it is practiced today has changed for good, and it is no longer necessary, has become just a ritual, practiced without a base or a real reason. Whoever who says that is now necessary have to consider that in the time it was implemented was a sensitive issue that improve health and wellbeing of people, however, if someone decides or not practice circumcision today, and this act is not part of his culture, that will be only a senseless act, because the general health situation of the country will let him preserve intact that part of his own body. But I repeat, if the social importance of the act takes a major relevance, it is difficult to criticize the act, so the controversy is far from over, however, everyone is free to do with his body what he want.

A special movie: Perfect Sense

A special movie: Perfect Sense

by Verónica Waldron.

Perfect Sense is about the story of a girl named Susan. She is epidemiologist , who study all the epidemics and diseases of humans. In the plot, Susan is faced with the incipient beginning of an unknown epidemic that affects senses of people. Also, this epidemic has symptoms that make the person conscious about has got the disease. These symptons are very strange, like before you get lose the sense smell, an attack of cry invades you. This cry cames about nowhere, but in some people, like Susan it cames with the remembers of her father, who deads years ago. About this element of the movie, in some persons the disease gets before than another ones, in the people who gets before, I think  it’s because they have more troubles in their life or  they have a pessimist vision of life. The protagonist, did have a lonely life, she only had her work and a sister, and she made all her life with a couple, making her own family. Susan didn't have any good luck in love. She was very disappointed about love and life in general.
But this last point changed in the movie,  with time, Susan met a guy. Michael, a chef who works near of her house. One day, Susan went to the restaurant with Michael, because he invited to her to eat, and Susan caught the disease. It was a very uncomfortable and a weird situation, because they just met. But Michael was very supportive and welcoming. He  hugs her and took  her to home. Susan obviusly had some shame but at the same time, I feel that she felt really happy and accompanied by Michael. In the perspective of her work, she definately had impotence and frustration because the cure for this strange disease not found out and with the days, it grew more and more.

Michael when took Susan to her house, caught the epidemic too, but his cry was more quiet, with less pain inside. In my opinion, he was more excited for been there with Susan and express his love and attraction to her, than being worried about the epidemic in his body.

If I lose my senses I think I would go crazy. It have to be something terrible that you never want to live. The senses are so important for living, for do everything and lose any one of them, it have to be very sad and difficult. I really don’t want to imagine lose some one of them. I try always to think that they are very important, and give them the importance they deserve.

About the words of the narrator, I think they have much truth in them, because people today it’s very individual and they do not see the importances essential to live and be happy. They just care about themselves. But when they’re involved in a trouble, they always expected a help and be rescued. Including me, when I have a problem I prepare for the worst, but always anyway, I hope it never happens or somebody save me.
I think this movie delivery that feeling, always live the moment, live with love and being generous because you never know if you’re going to die

Perfect Sense, one of my favorites movies

This movie is about a girl, Susan, who is epidemiologist and doesn’t have the best life, because her relationships doesnt’ going well.
In that times in the world, start an terrible epidemic in the humans that remove little by little the humans senses. Susan investigates this with her co workers, with a little fear and uncertainty , because the epidemic first begin with loose the sense of  smell. And cames with a strange desperate cry about anything. That’s was an symptom for know you’re infected with this unexplained virus. Further, in other countries this disease attacked a lots of persons, and doesn't stopped, generating a great fear among the population, and who did not know their origin. This fact made a lot of fear inside Susan, because she didn't want to die alone, with a lot of bad relationships of love.

Meanwhile, she meets to Michael, a boy who is a chef in a restaurant near of Susan house’s. First she wasn't very interested in him, but with time they ‘re together.
In a few days of this relationship starts, Susan was the first of them in get infected, in a couple hours, Michael have it too. They were together when Susan begun with the sympton, and at that point she was very scared, because I think, she doesn't want that Michael see her like that, and obviously, she does not  wanted to get infected. In that moment, Michael try with all his heart to help Susan and make her feel better. He hugs her and leads Susan to her house, and stayed with her until they're fell asleep. After that, Michael got the disease. He had a little less of pain and desesperation in his cry than Susan. He took the situation with a lot more of tranquility, and stayed calm at Susan arms. He just made a quiet situation and was more worried off stay there and show their love to Susan.

If I start to lose my senses, I think I would go very sad and desperate, because I think, like in the movie, lose your senses one by one it has to be horrible. Every sense has a importance in life of humans, and lose them it would be something for get crazy.  I feel that can’t live without my taste sense or the ear sense, don't listen all of the sounds and voices anymore, for me it would  seems like a nightmare. And more,  if it’s by  a strange disease wich don’t have cure and origin. Definately, I just burst into tears if it doesn’t exist an cure.

About the words of the narrator, I’m agree, because I believe it’s very true about the own interests, like people very individual, only looking for they own benefits. But when the person are in a problem, can prepare for the worst, but inside they have the hope for something good happen. The most of people when are in a trouble, remembers other persons and asks for help. But they only want this help for them too.

Movie: Perfect Sense

At first, you can see that Susan tried to give a logical explanation for what was going on, always with the conviction that an event like that would only be momentary, or ultimately the disease could be controlled.
Even when she knows that she was ill, she was calm, because, by their profession, was aware of the evolution of the disease and the possible effects that could potentially have something like that. In addition, Susan, at the time, finds her true love who was very important because they, together, bear all that is happening. To me, Susan acted as rationally as possible, taking into account that many of the people chose to loot or vandalize simply, but she, like most of those affected, realized that not to find the cause of what was happening, he must continue with her life, and just focus on enjoying what could still be done with the senses her still possessed, this point can be reflected in the actions of Susan, markedly the moments he spent with Michael, as were locked in a search for the pleasures of love, in a particular scene sees Susan telling Michael that makes her special by telling her something that only she would know, and she in turn tells him her biggest secret, that she could not have children, I think this scene reflects what Susan attempts to try to experience everything that she had done throughout her life, focusing in what she still possessed.
Michael took refuge in the feeling of love, stuck to Susan to lead the diseases. It is interesting to see the scene where he just lost hearing, and all he thinks about that is that he wants to see her again, see Susan, the only person that can make him feel that nothing was happening matter, that nothing but love was really important, what I think is the most important and salvageable topic from the film, the topic which shows the title of the film, Perfect Sense, the perfect feeling that, despite what happens, survives, and finally, when all else falls away, stands alone and shines with more splendor.
In my case, if I had the disease in the first place I think I'd be sad but then had used every moment with my loved ones, try to bring about the most natural way possible, so that does not affect my life, but always with the things as best you can, even if they are little things, allow time for each person I love and also try to help other people, acting with love and faith that, at some point either a miracle or by a heroic act, the disease can be reversed, and if that does not happen, I would make sure to pay off my debts and be at peace with the world, so that in the end, do not feel any remorse or things left to do or say. To me the most important thing is to leave this world with your head up and a light soul, and above all, with a clear conscience.
