A little opinion about the student mobilization

By Sylvia Godoi Reyes.

A little opinion about the student movilizations.

In my opinion that calling that CONES doing is not quite right because it is being given a lot of freedom to schools participating in the student movement, creating mismatches, rumors and even situations such as riots or aggressive shots colleges, among other things, it seems more an appeal to the very people involved in the conflict to take the law into their own. Such insinuations generate, on a frequent basis, riots and anti-social behavior of some groups. In my opinion, this kind of attitude has undermined both the safety of the students themselves as people who have little or nothing to do with the movement. It is for this reason that the CONES must think ahead in the effects that their words and be responsible for the movement of both events held peacefully as those that not do it.
Education in Chile is a cross-impacts us all. In other countries, such as Argentina, both health and education are provided free of charge and these services are of excellent quality, while in Chile reach such services, essential for both professional and personal development, is extremely expensive, although there are cheap alternatives but those are of bad quality, so the demands of FECH are entirely valid, but there are other ways of nonviolent protest, other than those that have so far been seen in the student movement. While these attitudes are not violent by one hundred percent of the students, who mostly protest peacefully, has begun to emerge the idea into some groups that there is no other ways to be heard by the authorities besides doing it in this way, been the most disadvantaged who have little or nothing to do with the problem or its solution. In short terms, " I will not been listened if I don't throw them stones."
About the ending of the manifestation any time soon, personally I think that they don’t going to end in a very long time. The mobilizations have become part of the culture of the students, many of whom are happy to even be part of the excesses. This has increased very quickly, and I don´t see any reason that make them stop any time soon. The only feasible way to terminate the student mobilizations would be that both the state and student federations, were willing to open a dialogue in which both parties know they have to give up altogether and find some way to leave both sides satisfied however the FECH and government have been emphatic in saying they will not give up, even a step, and, especially, the FECH argues that student movements will not stop until the state fulfill all their demands. This type of attitude can only hit a wall, and it's inevitable friction generated between the parties that get larger conflicts. But I keep the faith that someday education reaches all people, whether rich or poor, and that is quality, and I dream of a country where it is not necessary to destroy anything to be heard.
